(888) 723-00412004-2011 Ford F-150 Rear Brake Pads, Galvanized, D1012
Part #: NS1012
Description
NRS Galvanized rear brake pads for the 2004-2011 Ford F-150 stop the problem rear brakes are known for: rust. The rear axle does less of the stopping, so its pads run cooler and sit longer between hard stops, giving moisture, road salt, and washdown spray time to attack a painted backing plate. Once rust gets under the friction it lifts and cracks the pad, often long before the friction is worn. NRS builds on a fully galvanized plate, so rear pads that spend their life sitting in the wet stay bonded until the friction is actually used up.
Features
- NRS® mechanical attachment: steel hooks formed into the backing plate grip the friction material, with no adhesive layer to corrode or let go
- Matches the factory design: FMSI Z-listed, meaning mechanically attached friction was specified for this application from the factory
- Chamfered pad edges for smoother, quieter engagement
- Install-ready: abutment clips, pad shims, and brake lubricant in the box
- Unpainted finish, so there is no coating to chip, flake, or wash off
- Made in Canada
