Description
Diode Dynamics SL2 9006/9012 LED Bulbs replace dim, yellowed halogens with crisp white light that stays focused where your original beam was aimed. Plenty of LED bulbs advertise huge brightness and then scatter it, blinding oncoming drivers while lighting less road. The SL2 puts its light source in the same spot as the halogen filament it replaces, so your housing keeps its hotspot and cutoff, and the gain lands downrange instead of in the glare. There's no fan to whine, clog with road grime or quit on a washboard trail. Heat moves out through the bulb's metal body instead, so there is one less moving part waiting to fail. Prefer a warmer beam that cuts through rain and dust? The selective yellow version is DD0466P. Chasing more output from the same socket? Step up to the SL2 Pro, DD0482P. Lots of trucks pair a 9006 low beam with a 9005 high beam; the matching SL2 set for that socket is DD0463P.
