Description

The recreational off-road industry is full of low-quality imported shackles, which limits where you can buy true USA-made shackles to your local rigging supply store. Factor 55 has partnered with the Crosby Group to offer their quality shackles in durable, UV-stable powder-coated finishes. Each shackle is 100% USA-made and drop-forged, first powder-coated with an epoxy-based coating for superior corrosion resistance, then finished with a polyester-based coating for UV stability. Rated with a working load limit of 6,500 lbs (3-1/4 ton) and a minimum breaking strength of 39,000 lbs, this is a life-safety tool built to be used confidently in your recovery rigging.

Note on finishes: because these are drop-forged working tools, they can sometimes have small cosmetic blemishes after powder coating. These blemishes do not affect the shackle's strength or performance in any way. If you're building a show vehicle or want shackles purely for display, these may not be the right fit — they're made to work under the harshest conditions.
