Description
The ProLink E (Expert) eliminates the conventional winch hook and gives you a versatile shackle-mounting opening — use either end of a standard 3/4" screw-pin shackle, or a soft shackle up to 1/2". It's the safer, stronger, smarter replacement for a winch hook. Engineered and machined in the USA from lightweight billet 6061 aluminum, the ProLink E captures the cable or rope eye in its body with a removable, oversized 5/8" 6Al-4V titanium double-shear pin. It works with both hawse and roller fairleads and features an integrated EPDM rubber boot that snugs neatly against either type to protect the fairlead and prevent rattling. Fits all steel cables and synthetic ropes up to 3/8" in diameter.
Compatible with Closed System Winching — a rigging method that uses entirely closed-link hardware for the extra security and confidence demanding winch recoveries require.
